From the 23rd of July 2026 to 31st of August 2026 (24Hrs Closure) Scotia Gas Networks Require Full road Closure for new Gas Main. The Service will follow the diversion below;

Service 3 To Portsmouth

The Seagull Bus Stop, onto the A27 follow the X4/X5 route to Portchester Precinct

Service 3 to Fareham

After Portchester Precinct, onto the A27 follow the X4/X5 to Seagull Roundabout onto normal route

Services 28 and 28A Emergency Route Diversion, Swanwick Station and Duncan Road.

1000 Monday 20th July expected for 3 hrs.

Due to an emergency road closure, all 28 28A will be diverting via Botley road in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use the collage stop outside the Village Inn Public House as a alternative.

Due to Gas Main Repair Work, Abshot Road will be closed

The service is diverting via Common Lane, Warsash Road, Hunts Pond Road onto the normal route

X4 To Portsmouth

The services are diverting via St Johns School, Hunts Pond Road, onto the normal route

Due to a road closure in Castle Street, Portchester. All route 3s will be diverted via West Street A27 in both directions.

All Stops in Castle Street, White Hart Lane and Cornaway Lane will not be served during this diversion.
Passengers are advised to use any available stops along the diversion route.

All service. City Centre South, Portsmouth. stop closure

13 July to 8 August 2026

Due to road works in City Centre south, Portsmouth (Outside Iceland) stop G towards the Hard is closed.
Please use the Stop next to Victoria Park (P) which is the other side of the mini roundabout. for services 3,8,x3,x4,x5 & 8.
Services 1 & 2 will serve stand F in City Centre South.

Service E1 | Elson Church Road Closure

Service E1 | Elson Church Road Closure

Between the 27th of July and the 10th of August 2026 there will be a road closure near Elson Church affecting the E1 route. This could extend to 14/08/2026. The diversion route below will be followed.

Service E1 to Gosport

Normal route to the Brockhurst roundabout, onto Elson Road, Gunners Way, Heritage way onto normal route.

Service E1 to Fareham

Normal route to the Windsor Castle, onto Heritage Way, A32 down to Brockhurst roundabout onto normal route.

Service 7 | Portsdown Hill Road. Diversion

To allow for carriageway repairs nightly (20:00 - 06:00), Portsdown Hill Road will be closed from 27th July to 31st July.

Service 7 will divert as below:

Towards Blackbird Close:

At The George follow London Road to Ladybridge Roundabout. 2nd Exit along Stakes Road and follow until next roundabout, 2nd Exit along Purbrook Way, to lights, Right, across carriage way, onto College Road, 2nd right onto Crookhorn Lane back onto normal route.

Towards Portsmouth:

At Stakes Hill roundabout take 3rd Exit and follow Stakes Road to Ladybridge roundabout, take 1st Exit along London Road to the George and back onto normal route.

Mountbatten Centre, Gladys Avenue Bus stops on Northen Parade in Portsmouth will be closed from 13/07/2026 to 21/07/2026 and no temporary stop provided. This will affect the Service 8.
