SD4 to Havant / SERVICE DISRUPTION / 20th of November 2025

We have just had buses stuck at this previously unannounced road closure which one network has as being on from 10.00 to 15.00 today.

The road was closed at 09.20.

Diversions are thus :-

Service X41 to /from Halesworth will not serve Hillside Rd East in either direction due to the extra time required on the diversion via Flixton - this will be covered by 41 and 41A.

Please note there are two different diversions for X41 dependant on their terminus. 

Service X41 to/from HALESWORTH. Please divert as follows :- From Ditchingham do not turn into Bungay but continue along the A143 to the Flixton/Air Museum junction. Follow to bottom of Hillside Rd West ( just past garden centre) and onto Flixton Rd, onto Bardolph Rd and stop as an alternative to town centre, at end to St Johns Layby to continue route to Halesworth. Toward Norwich :- direct to St Marys ( town centre) to resume route.

X41 terminating in Bungay :- diversion is the same as for Halesworth services until you get to St johns then onto Hillside Rd East run nonstop along Hillside Rd East to just by the school and turn left onto Annis Hill Lane at end, again back onto Hillside Rd East and serve stops as normal toward Hillside West. Toward Norwich operate along Hillside East as usual then use Annis Hill Lane to turn around as above then run nonstop back along Hillsiide East, at end and straight to town centre to resume route.

Services 41 and 41A :- Services toward Bungay :- From Ditchingham please remain on the A143 to the Flixton/Aircraft museum junction. Follow to the bottom of Hillside Rd West (just past garden centre) onto Flixton Rd and then onto Bardolph Rd - this stop is the closest you will get to town centre - at the end onto Hillside Rd East . Run nonstop to school then onto Annis Hill Lane.  Serve stops to Hillside Rd West. Toward Norwich :- Normal route along Hillside Rd east and use Annis Hill Lane to turn back and run nonstop along Hillside Rd East to end and direct to town centre to resume route.

X29's unable to serve Oak Street in Fakenham services are terminating at the old terminus on Wells Road (Toll Bar).

Diverting till tomorrow evening latest

Due to the closure of M275, the following diversion will be in place:

A27, Portchester, Mariott Hotel, North Harbour, Hilsea Lido, Stamshaw, and Rudmore Roundabout in both directions.

Due to highways repairs Pasture Road, the following diversion is in place:

Service 2 and 3 Towards QA/Portsmouth

Normal route to Cavell Drive (Blue Gates), Nightingale Road and to the normal route.

Service 2 and 3 Towards Fareham

Normal route to Cosham Roundabout, Nightingale Road, Cavell Road (Blue Gates) an on to the normal route.  

Eastney Road  is closed due to emergency gas works.

Passengers can alight at Eastney Health Centre or Bransbury Park.

Temporary Stop Closure, Route 5, Chester Crescent (E). Portsmouth Road, Lee-on-Solent.
12.30 Thursday 19th March until 1800 Thursday 2nd April.

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed on the date shown.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop provided by the works contractors.

This closure will only affect the stop towards Gosport.

This closure will only affect the stop towards Gosport.

0800 Monday 16th March until 1800 Friday 24th April.

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed between the dates shown.

Until a temporary stop can be supplied, Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either:

Fort Brockhurst or Elson Lane.

This closure will only affect the stop towards Gosport.
