Industrial Strike Action (Saturday 11th - Sunday 26th)

Unite the Union have confirmed they intend to take industrial action on the weekends of 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 Jan – Monday to Friday services will operate as normal.

**Please note that all services may be subject to change at short notice and passengers should check before travelling.**

  • First Bus expects routes 2, 7, 8, 22, Hoverbus (H1) and the Portsmouth Park & Ride (PR1) service to operate as normal.
  • A reduced and limited service is planned to operate on routes 1, 3, 5, 9, E1, E2, X4 and X5. Please see the table below for a summary of what will operate on these routes or see the timetable here.

Service

Saturdays 18th, 25th Jan

Sundays 19th, 26th Jan

1 (Southsea – The Hard)

Buses will operate between approx. 9am and 6pm every 20-40 minutes.

No service

3 (Fareham – Portsmouth – Southsea)

Buses will operate between Fareham and Cosham Health Centre only every 20-30 mins between approx. 6.30am and 9pm

Buses will operate between Fareham and Cosham Health Centre only every 30 mins between approx. 8.30am and 6.30pm

5 (Fareham – Lee – Gosport)

Buses will operate hourly between 7.30am and 6.30pm

Buses will operate a normal timetable except the 18:00 departures will not operate

9 (Fareham – Rowner – Gosport)

Buses will operate hourly between approx. 7.30am and 6.30pm

Buses will operate hourly between approx. 9am and 7pm

E1/E2 (Fareham – Brockhurst – Gosport)

Each route will operate half hourly between 7am and 8pm with a combined 15-minute frequency between Fareham and Fort Brockhurst

X4 (Portsmouth – Fareham – Southampton

Buses will operate hourly between Portsmouth and Fareham only, approx. 9am to 6pm. Buses will connect with X5 journeys for onward travel.

X5 (Portsmouth – Fareham – Southampton)

Buses will operate hourly between Fareham and Southampton only between approx. 9am and 6pm
Buses will connect with X4 journeys for onward travel
