Overall Summary

Due to additional funding from Hampshire County Council, there will be increased Sunday frequencies on the E1/E2 and 5 routes. The 5 will also see evening trips added between Monday and Saturday. The 9A route will be cancelled, and their original trips will be served by the 9 instead.

Due to roadworks affecting Lake Road in Portsmouth, the 3 and 7 routes will be on diversion from Wednesday, 10th June. Buses will now turn at Kingston Crescent and serve Mile End Road on the way towards the City Centre instead of Kingston Road/Lake Road.

What's Changing?

Service E1/E2 – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station

Frequency has increased on a Sunday. Originally, the combined services offered a 15-minute peak frequency, but this has now increased to 10-minutes.

Service 5 – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station (via Stubbington & Lee-on-Solent)

Frequency has increased on a Sunday from 60-minutes to 30-minutes. Hourly evening trips have been added Monday-Saturday between 19:05 and 23:05.

Service 9/9A – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station (via Bridgemary & Rowner)

The trips originally served by the 9A have been moved onto the 9 instead. This ensures a consistent service on the 9 route, with 20-minute frequencies from approx. 7am to 7pm. Due to the 9A being removed, we will no longer serve Nobes Avenue or Rowner Road towards Grange Road.

Service 3 – Fareham Bus Station – South Parade Pier

Service 7 – City Centre – Wecock Farm

From Wednesday 10th June, the roadworks on Lake Road reaches a phase where there is a complete road closure. From this date to 26th July, we will be diverting after North End Junction to serve stops along Kingston Crescent and Mile End Road on the way to the City Centre. This means we won’t be serving stops along Kingston Road or Lake Road.

Service PR3 – Tipner Park & Ride – Clarence Pier

From Saturday 6th June, we will be operating Saturdays and Sundays on a 30-minute frequency throughout the summer months. In addition to this, we will increase the frequency to 10-minutes for the weekend of 12th/13th September to coincide with the Kite Festival.
