We’re making improvements to our Slough bus network to give you more options and better connections. From Sunday 7 December 2025, some of our key services will be changing.

Here’s what’s happening:

The 7 and new 7x service

  • We’re introducing a new 7x service, which will run alongside the existing 7, which will continue to link Slough and Heathrow along it's current route.
  • Together, the 7 and 7x will run every 15 minutes during the daytime, Monday to Friday, between Britwell, Slough, Trelawney Avenue & Heathrow T5.
  • The 7x will continue to Heathrow Central Bus Station, via Langley High Street, Trelawney Avenue, and the A4.
  • The 7 Saturday service will also be more frequent, running every 20 minutes during the daytime.
  • Both services will participate in the Ride and Save loyalty scheme.

The 6 service

  • The 6 will become a cross-town route, connecting areas currently served by both the 6 and 12.
  • It will now serve Wexham Park Hospital.
  • Service will increase to run every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday.
  • On Sundays, the service will operate between Slough, Wexham Park & Wexham hospital only. Thames Valley buses will continue to run the existing 12 route on Sundays.
  • As a consequence of this change, the 6 will no longer serve Maidenhead. Customers can avail of the A4 and 704 service for journeys along the Bath road and into Maidenhead.

The 13 service

  • Please note that from 8th of December, route 13 will no longer operate. Route 12 will still serve parts of the Slough Trading Estate. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
