Ticket gifting is now live in our app.
Ticket gifting allows you to purchase your child’s mTicket and transfer it directly to their phone*, so there’s no need for them to have a credit or debit card of their own or others stored.
Step by Step
Once you’ve downloaded the app and purchased their ticket, it couldn’t be easier to gift it to your child by following these simple steps**.
1. Pick the ticket you want to gift from your mTicket wallet by selecting the ![]() |

*The First Bus App must be installed on the phones of both parties and each must have an mTickets account. **Some steps have been removed.
Child tickets are for children under 11, and for those aged 11-18 who hold a Metro Under 16 Photocard or 16-19 Photocard. You must show the driver your Photocard when boarding.Please see ticketsandpasses.wymetro.com to apply - you'll need a photograph, proof of your age and your address.
