87: Treloggan Road, Newquay.

From Monday the 10th of November 2025 to Friday the 27th of February 2026, there will be a closure along Treloggan Road, Newquay.

This will affect the 87 service.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Towards Newquay

From Trevemper Roundabout, buses will take the second exit and travel along Platinum Way. They will then carry on along the A392 past Carn Brae House to the roundabout and then return in the opposite direction

They will then pick up and drop off at The Kings Head stop before carrying on along the A392 to Trevemper Roundabout. They will then take the second exit ant travel along Trevemper Road to Mellanvrane Roundabout where they will turn right, travel past the boating Lake and resume their normal line of route at Newquay Zoo.

Towards Truro

From Newquay Zoo, buses will carry on over the double mini roundabouts past the boating Lake.

They will then take the first exit off Mellanvrane Roundabout and travel down Trevemper Road to Trevemper Roundabout. Here they will take the first off exit and travel along Platinum Way. They will then carry on along the A392 past Carn Brae House to the roundabout and then return in the opposite direction

They will then pick up and drop off at The Kings Head stop before carrying on along the A392 to Trevemper Roundabout and resume their normal line of route.

Please note that during this time, we will be unable to serve stops from The Bishops School to the bus stop outside McDonalds.

Passengers are advised that there will be a temporary stop at Trenance Gardens along Trevemper Road and The Kings Head.
