If you’re a qualified bus driver with a manual PCV licence, we can offer you a rewarding career with lots of variety as well as the option for flexible work patterns. Going out on the open road, you’ll take ownership of your bus and work on your own initiative, looking after passenger safety and providing a great customer experience. You’ll be responsible for our customers getting to their destination safely and on time.
Our friendly and professional depot teams will help with:
- Getting to know our business
- Getting to know our buses, routes and issuing tickets
- Safety training so you can keep you, your passengers, and your colleagues safe
- All the training and support you need to reach your full potential
As a qualified bus driver you will be earning £12.00 per hour for the first 3 weeks whilst in training, this will then increase to our current top rate of £13.00 per hour with a potenital to earn up to £24k annually.
Flexible Work Patterns
We have a number of flexible work patterns available so you can find a schedule that fits around your lifestyle. You can talk to us about what flexible work means to you.
Part-Time - we have vacancies of between 16 hours and 30 hours a week available which includes a variety of shifts including some weekends and lates.
Term-Time - We can offer term-time shifts to either to run alongside wither University or schools term-times. This includes a mix of shifts including weekends and lates but all holidays are off. This can be paid across the 52 weeks to ensure you get a wage every week as well as the option for voluntary overtime.

Who are we looking for?
If you already have driving experience, we’ll expect you to be safety conscious and excited about the freedom that life on the road has to offer. Safety is paramount to our business, and customer service comes a very close second. If you have the drive, energy, and enthusiasm then we look forward to meeting you. You'll need to be able to think on your feet, sometimes in challenging situations. You'll be used to dealing with customers, able to offer high levels of customer service skills and have some experience of handling cash transactions.
