Park & Ride Fares

It's free to park at any of the six Park & Ride sites when you are getting on the bus to go into York City Centre!

The fares on the bus (listed below) are the same for all six of the Park & Ride sites, and are only available when boarding at a Park & Ride site. Fares from other stops are charged on the regular First farescale - visit our Tickets page for more information.

Single	£2.00	A single trip on a Park & Ride bus. Available on the bus.
Adult Day Return	£3.80	Includes travel for up to three children under 16 (only applicable when boarding at a Park & Ride site). Available on the bus or on the First Bus App.
Concessionary Return*	£1.30	For anyone with a valid English National Concessionary pass. Includes travel for up to three children under 16 (only applicable when boarding at a Park & Ride site). Available on the bus.
Group Ticket for 5 People	£10.00	Available on the bus.
Adult Week	£15.20	Unlimited travel for one week. Available on the First Bus App.
Adult Month	£60.80	Unlimited travel for one month. Available on the First Bus App.
Adult Annual	£608.00	Unlimited travel for one year. Available on the First Bus App.
Child Day Return	£1.90	5-16 years old (under 5s go free). Available on the bus or on the First Bus App.
Young Person's Day Return	£3.45	16-18 years old. Available on the First Bus App.
Park & Ride Multi-trip Ticket	£17.00 (5 days) £34.00 (10 days) £68.00 (20 days)	Can be used at any time up to one year from purchase. Available on the First Bus App.

*Available to holders of valid English National Concessionary Passes after 09:00 Monday-Friday & all day weekends and bank holidays. Before 09:00 Monday-Friday the full adult fare is payable.

If you're a regular traveller, a York by bus Smart Card could save you money on your travel.

Travelling with children?
Three children aged 16 and under can travel for free when accompanied by an adult boarding at any Park & Ride site with one of the following tickets; standard return, 5 day carnet, concessionary return, smart weekly, smart monthly or smart annual.

First Bus App

All of the above tickets are now available to buy on the First Bus App, buy your ticket before you board and speed to your seat.

Queens Street

Due to roadworks there will be diversions on the following weekends:

20:00 Friday 19 April until 06:00 Sunday 21 April
20:00 Friday 26 April until 06:00 Monday 29 April

Service 1 (from Acomb)

Diversion route:
Normal route to Blossom Street then Nunnery Lane, Skeldergate Bridge, Piccadilly, StoneBow, Peasholme Green, Dewbury, Lord Mayors Walk, normal route into Clarence Street.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Station Avenue, Gillygate.

Additional stops:
Nunnery Lane, Stonebow.

Service 1 (from Haxby)

Diversion route:
Normal to Theatre then Rougier Street, Micklegate, Skeldergate, Nunnery Lane, normal route from Blossom Street.

Stops not served:
Monument, York Railway Station.

Additional stops:
Rougier Street.

Services 3 & 4

Diversion route:
This service will terminate in Blossom Street then use Nunnery Lane, Prices Lane, Nunnery Lane to return.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Rougier Street, Clifford Street.

Services 5 & 5A (from Acomb)

Diversion route:
normal route to Blossom Street then Nunnery Lane, Skeldergate Bridge, Piccadilly, StoneBow, Peasholme Green, Dewbury, Lord Mayors Walk, normal route into Clarence Street.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Station Avenue, Gillygate.

Additional stops:
Nunnery Lane, Stonebow.

Services 5 & 5A (from Strensall)

Diversion route:
Normal to Theatre then Rougier Street, Micklegate, Skeldergate, Nunnery Lane, normal route from Blossom Street.

Stops not served:
Monument, York Railway Station.

Additional stops:
Rougier Street.

Service 7

Diversion route:
All services are to terminate in Rougier Street, then use Lendal gyratory to return to site via Ouse Bridge and Clifford Street, then Fishergate to site.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Nunnery Lane.

Service 9

Diversion route:
All services are to terminate in Rougier Street, then use Lendal gyratory to return to site via Ouse Bridge and Clifford Street.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Nunnery Lane.

Service 11

Diversion route:
Bishopthorpe Road, Price’s Lane, Bishopgates Road, Skeldergate Bridge, in both directions using Fishergate Loop towards Bishopthorpe.

Stops not served:
Scarcroft Road, Blossom Street, York Railway Station, Nunnery Lane.

Service 66

Diversion route:
This service will terminate on Rougier Street then use Lendal Gyratory, Rougier Street, Ouse Bridge, Clifford’s Street, normal route from Merchantgate.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Nunnery Lane.

Service 67

Diversion route:
Normal route until Piccadilly then, Piccadilly, Coppergate, Clifford Street terminate at Clifford Street then return to Merchantgate via Piccadilly, normal route.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station, Nunnery Lane.
