There are two ways that Suffolk County Council Endeavour Cards can be used on Park & Ride:

1) To purchase packs of 10 day tickets in advance

Adult £25
Young Person (5-19) £17.50

These are stored on the card and are then activated on the first journey on Park & Ride of each day that they are used.  They can be used from either car park and for as many journeys as you like on each day of use.

The Endeavour Card speeds up boarding the bus, there is no need to worry about having the right change and they allow up to 60 journeys to be bought at any one time.  Extra journeys can be added to an Endeavour card in blocks of 10 trips whenever you like, providing the maximum of 60 journeys is not exceeded.

Cards can be purchased or topped up online from Suffolk On Board Endeavour Portal or at the Travel Shop in the Old Cattle Market Bus Station.  The details you register will only be available to Suffolk County Council and First Eastern CountiesBuses, it will not be shared with third party organisations.  You will need to register your card online, this will allow us to stop someone else using your card if it is lost or stolen.

There is no time limit or expiry date on the journeys stored, this means there is no need to worry about losing money paid out in advance if you are ill or take a day off.

If you lose your card we can stop anyone else from travelling with it by using the serial number records as mentioned above, it will however be up to you to tell us if a card has gone astray.  To report a lost card and order a replacement please call Suffolk County Council on 0345 600 0659.

2) As an ePurse cashless smartcard

This allows you to use an Endeavour Card as an alternative to paying cash on the bus - a bit like a pay-as-you-go Oyster card.

Just present the card as you get on the bus and use the stored cash to pay for your ticket.
