Children & Young People (0-18 Years)
Children Under 5
Children under the age of 5 travel for free on all our buses.
Children Aged 5-11
No ID required - just purchase your ticket from the driver or using our First Bus App.
Young People Aged 11-16
From your 11th birthday, you'll need a MegaTravel pass in order to get discounted bus travel. Your MegaTravel pass is valid until you leave school at 16. You'll need to show your pass to the driver both to purchase and anytime you use a child ticket.
Young People Aged 16-18
If you're aged 16-18 and live in South Yorkshire, you qualify for a Travel Pass which will allow you to get cheap bus travel. You'll need to show your Travel Pass to the driver both to purchase and anytime you use a child ticket.

If you fall into any of the above categories, you can access the following discounted prices on all our regular bus services throughout South Yorkshire.
- Child single - £1
- FirstDay Child (one day's travel on First buses in South Yorkshire) - £2.40
- FirstWeek Child (one whole week's of travel on First buses in South Yorkshire) - £8.50
- First4Week Child (Four weeks with of travel on First buses in South Yorkshire) Available via the First Bus App for £30
