Service changes from 25 July 202125 Jul 2021 all areas
From the above date we are making some changes to a handful of timetables:
Service 3 Hanley – Tunstall – Kidsgrove – Alsager – Crewe
On Mondays to Fridays we’ll stop operating the 1725 and 1745 trips from Hanley to Radway Green. These were duplicates to the main service but are no longer required due to recent on board capacity increases.
Services 6/6A Hanley – Longton – Meir – Coalville/Blythe Bridge
To reflect the reduction in demand for bus services over the school summer holiday period we are reducing the frequency of these service to every 15 minutes on Mondays to Fridays between Hanley and Meir, every 30 minutes beyond that. On Saturdays buses already operate at this frequency but bus times will be changing slightly.
Services 7/7A Hanley – Smallthorne – Chell – Kidsgrove/Biddulph
A new timetable is introduced, but the frequency remains the same.
Services 11/11B Hanley – Bentilee – Longton – Stoke – Newcastle
All trips from Hanley will run 5 minutes later, arriving in Newcastle 3 minutes later. The ‘S11’ school buses will not run during the school holidays.
Service 22 Newcastle – Hospital - Trent Vale – Trentham – Blurton – Longton
A new timetable is introduced with extra time given to buses at busy times to improve reliability
Service 23 Newstead – Blurton – Stoke – Hanley
On Mondays to Fridays the 0757 Blurton to Hanley trip is withdrawn, currently providing extra capacity for college students.
Service 25 Hanley – Stoke – Hospital – Newcastle – Poolfields – Keele University
We are making the following changes on Saturday evenings:
- The 1820 trip from Hanley to Newcastle will extend to Keele, departing Newcastle at 1847, arriving in Keele at 1902.
- The 1830 trip from Hanley to Keele will terminate in Newcastle at 1855.
- A new trip is introduced, leaving Hanley at 1850, arriving in Keele at 1932.
- The 2001 Newcastle to Hanley trip will start in Keele at 1943
Services 98/99 Newcastle – Wolstanton – Porthill – Burslem & Ball Green (98)/Tunstall & Chell Heath (99)
A new timetable is introduced to provide buses at regular times through May Bank and Wolstanton
