UPDATE - 15:45 Tuesday 31st October - A new diversion route will be in place from first bus on Wednesday 1st November. The only bus stop that will now be missed is the Manse Lane one on Woolavington Road.

Woolavington Road between the Enterprise Way/A39 roundabout in Puriton is currently closed to service 75 and will remain fully closed until further notice (likely end of November) to facilitate emergency carriageway works.
Service 75 heading towards Bridgwater will operate normal route as far as Woolavington Road/Enterprise Way roundabout then divert via Enterprise Way and Hillside to resume normal route.
Service 75 heading towards Wells will be diverted the reverse of the above.
Regretfully the Manse Lane bus stop will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Butchers Shop bus stop on Woolavington Road for both directions.

Bournville Lantern Parade, W-s-M - CLOSURES - (X1)
Various roads in Bournville Weston- super-Mare will be closed to service X1 between 17:30 and 19:30 (two hours) on Saturday 2nd December to facilitate a Lantern Parade.
As a result of this event the service X1 will be unable to serve the Bournville Estate and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Sunnyside Road bus stop on Brighton Road or Asda bus stop for either direction.

CANCELLED - Fishponds Road (part), Fishponds - Phase one - CLOSURE - (17, 48 & 49)
UPDATE - 10:00 Wednesday 29th November - Due to the forecast of icy conditions the below works have been CANCELLED until further notice. Further works are planned along Fishponds Road in the coming nights, we will receive an update tomorrow and this web page will be updated accordingly. Services will operate as normal tonight.

Fishponds Road in Fishponds will be closed in different phases over the next week or so to facilitate line painting works. All works will be overnight between 22:00 and 06:00.
Phase one of the closure will be overnight between Downend Road and Manor Road on Wednesday 29th November (one night).
Service 17 heading towards Southmead Hospital only will be diverted from the end of Woodland Way via Soundwell Road, Lodge Road, Lodge Hill, Lodge Causeway and Fishponds Road to resume normal route from the Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including The Turnpike on Soundwell Road and Channons Hill on Fishponds Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Woodland Avenue bus stop on Woodland Way or Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.

Service 48 heading towards the Centre will operate normal route as far as Downend village then divert via North Road, Soundwell Road then as service 17 above to resume normal route from the Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Christchurch Avenue on Downend Road and Channons Hill on Fishponds Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either The Horseshoe bus stop in Downend village or Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.
Service 48 heading towards Emersons Green will operate normal route as far as Channons Hill (observing the bus stop outside of the Bingo Hall), then divert around Channons Hill, Fishponds Road, Lodge Causeway, Lodge Hill, Lodge Road, Soundwell Road and North Road to resume normal route at Downend village.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Channons Hill on Fishponds Road or Christchurch Avenue on Downend Road and will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the bus stop outside of the Bingo Hall on Fishponds Road (just prior to Channons Hill) or The Horseshoe bus stop in Downend village.

Service 49 heading towards the Centre will operate normal route as far as the traffic lights at the end of Broad Street then divert via Soundwell Road then as service 17 above to resume normal route from the Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including the Portcullis on Staple Hill High Street and Channons Hill on Fishponds Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either The Portcullis bus stop on Soundwell Road (normally served by 7, 17 & 19) or Lodge Causeway bus stop on Fishponds Road.
Service 49 heading towards Emersons Green will operate normal route as far as Channons Hill observing the bus stop outside of the Bingo Hall), then divert around Channons Hill, Fishponds Road, Lodge Causeway, Lodge Hill, Lodge Road, Soundwell Road to resume normal route at Broad Street.

Court Farm Road, Whitchurch - EMERGENCY CLOSURE - (73)
Court Farm Road in Whitchurch is closed between 08:00 and 18:00 on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th November to facilitate emergency carriageway works.
Service 73 will drop passengers off by the green on Whitchurch Lane just past Belland Drive.
Service 73 will commence its journey at the Dakota Drive bus stop on Whitchurch Lane just past Belland Drive at the normal departure time.

Takeover of services 55 and 77/77a
Takeover of services 55 and 77/77a
From Monday 27th November 2023, services 55 (Wrantage - Strode College) and 77/77a (Yeovil - Wells) will transfer to us from our sister company Buses of Somerset.
There will be no change to the timetables, with the exception of a new journey on the 77 from Yeovil to Wells at 18.20 Monday to Friday and 18.10 on Saturdays. Timetables can be viewed in the Timetables section of our website.
Fares will come into line with the First West of England fare structure, and the £2 Single Fare Cap will remain in place. The West of England Zone will incorporate the complete route of both services. Full details of our fares can be found on our fares page.

Bath Christmas Market - DIVERSIONS - (6, 6a, 7, 31)
Bath Christmas Market diversions 2023
From Monday 20th November 2023, Milsom Street will be closed to accommodate the Christmas Market.
Lansdown Park & Ride service 31 will drop off and pick up from Queen Square instead during this time.
Services 6, 6a and 7 towards Grand Parade will divert via The Paragon and Walcot Street, missing the stop at Milsom Street. Buses towards Fairfield and Larkhall are not affected.
The road will re-open on 12th December, at which point buses will return to normal routes.
Bournville Road, Weston-super-Mare - CLOSURE - (X1)
Bournville Road in Weston-super-Mare will be closed again to service X1 between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday 27th November through to Friday 22nd December (20 days excluding weekends) to facilitate further carriageway works.
Services will be diverted and the only bus stops that will be missed are Kensington Road and Argyle Avenue on Bournville Road and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Lonsdale Avenue bus stop or Sunnyside Road bus stop in Clevedon Road in your correct direction of travel.

UPDATE - EMERGENCY CLOSURE - A432 Badminton Road (part) - (Y1)
The A432 Badminton Road will be closed from the Willy Wicket roundabout to the junction of Church Road in Frampton Cotterell from 19:00 on Wednesday 12th July to service Y1 until investigations and assessments of the bridge across the M4 are completed. Further updates will be given when known.
The A432 Badminton Road is still open between Church Road and Cuckoo Lane for vehicles and the bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.
Please note as a result of this closure the service Y1 will suffer inevitable delays and passengers are advised to allow extra time on their journeys. This will also cause delays to all other services in the area due to the high volume of dispersed traffic finding alternative routes.
The Bristol Zone boundary bus stop will be the Quarry Barton bus stop on Bristol Road by Whiteshill Common.

Service Y1 heading towards Yate & Chipping Sodbury will operate as normal as far as the traffic lights at Hambrook junction but instead of going straight across, will divert left onto the B4058 Bristol Road (serving 'The Stream' bus stop), through Winterbourne village, then turn right into Church Road to its end and left onto Badminton Road (part unaffected) to resume normal route. Service Y1 heading towards Bristol will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully the following bus stops will not be served during this closure in both directions:
Hambrook - Cuckoo Lane - Down Road - Park Lane - Station Road - St Saviours Church - Heathcote Drive
Heading towards Bristol the Church Road bus stop on Badminton Road will also not be served.
All bus stops on the diversion route will be observed in both directions including the bus stop outside of the Co-op in Winterbourne village heading towards Bristol.

High Street, Paulton - CLOSURE - (172 & 522)
The High Street in Paulton will be closed to service 172 and 522 between 15:30 and 19:00 on Saturday 2nd December to facilitate Paulton Christmas Festival.
Service 172 & 522 heading towards Bath from Paper Lane will turn around at the roundabout and go back down Hallatrow Road to the end, turn left onto the A39 Wells Road to the traffic lights, left onto the A37, then left at the traffic lights onto the A362 to Thicket Mead Roundabout past Tesco and turn right to resume normal route.
Service 172 & 522 heading towards Wells or Bristol are to operate the reverse of the above.
Please use the Paper Lane or Thicket Mead Roundabout stops during the closure, as we will not be able to serve the following bus stops:
-Church Lane
-War Memorial
-Alexandra Park
-Winterfield Close
-Alpine Road
-Paulton Hospital

A370, Near Congresbury - CLOSURE - (X1 & A3)
The A370, Near Congresbury will be closed overnight to service X1 between 20:00 and 05:00 on Monday 27th November to Monday 4th December (6 nights) Excluding Weekends, to facilitate further carriageway works.
Regretfully there will be no direct service between Backwell and Bristol for the above overnight closure.
Passengers can board the X7 or X9 services that serve Nailsea which will be the nearest services to reach Backwell.
We apologies for any inconvenience this will no doubt cause.

Service X1 heading towards Weston-super-Mare will be diverted via Colliters Way, A38 and Langford to Congresbury traffic lights.
Due to the length of the diversion route and the amount of traffic that will be seeking alternative routes please allow extra time to make your journey.
Regretfully the bus stops between and including Jubilee Inn in Long Ashton and Congresbury Bridge will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Winterstoke Road bus stop in Ashton or the Strawberry Line bus stop in Congresbury.
Service X1 heading towards Bristol will operate the reverse of the above.
Service A3 Bristol Flyer will use the A38 in both directions.
Regretfully the bus stops between and including Tesco in Congresbury and Jubilee Inn in Long Ashton will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Station Road bus stop in Congresbury or the Blackmoors Lane bus stop in Ashton.

Westbury Hill in Westbury on Trym will be closed to service 1 from 08:30 on Monday 20th November and will remain fully closed until 16:30 on Monday 4th December to facilitate carriageway works.
Service 1 will operate normal route as far as the roundabout in Westbury Village then turn around at the Cenotaph roundabout back down Canford Lane and left into Falcondale Road to resume normal route at the junction of Westbury Hill.
Service 1 heading towards Cribbs Causeway will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully the Southfield Road bus stop on Westbury Hill will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Westbury Village or Brecon Road bus stops.
