Links Road/Beach Boulevard closures 3rd Sept until further notice

Bankhead Road/ Stoneywood Road Closed 6-22nd Sept

Due to road closure at the railway bridge at Stoneywood Road, services cannot use Bankhead Road from 04:00 on 6th September until 17:00 on 22nd September. 

Services 18,18A,18B,18s heading to Dyce will operate from Mill Drive via Stoneywood Road before resuming the normal route. 

Services 18,18A,18B,18S heading to Redmoss will operate from Stoneywood Road, via Mill Drive and then resume the normal route. 

Due to an emergency road closure from John Street to Spring Gardens until further notice.

Services 17,17A,172,17K,19,19S heading from Broad Street to Powis
Services are diverted via Loch Street, Spring Gardens, Gallowgate, Hutcheon Street and George Street before resuming normal route

Services are diverted via Hutcheon Street, Gallowgate, Spring Gardens, Loch Street before resuming normal route.
 

Customers should board at Hutcheon Street.

Upcoming Service Changes from Sunday 18th August 2024

We have made changes to our network to further support and improve connections across Aberdeen. 

Minor timetable adjustments and route amends have been made to services below.

The next phase of work that takes place on Links Road/Beach Boulevard will be from 3rd September until further notice.

The next phase of work will be from 04:00 on 3rd September until further notice (subject to change). Services will divert as follows:

Services will divert as follows: Service 13 heading to Seaton, Hillhead
From East North Street:

• 2nd exit onto Beach Boulevard
• continue along the Boulevard using all temporary stops (bus will not serve Links Retail Park
• Back on to beach esplanade and right on to Beach Boulevard
• Via Park Street and on to Park Road
• Resume normal route

Service 13 heading to Seaton, Hillhead (if service York Street Footdee)
From East North Street:
• 2nd exit onto Beach Boulevard
• continue along the Boulevard using all temporary stops (bus will not serve Links Retail Park)
• 3rd exit at the Beach Ballroom roundabout and continue normal route to Footdee
• continue along York Street
• left onto York Place 
• right onto Waterloo Quay
• right onto Commerce Street
• 3rd exit onto Park Street
• 3rd exit onto Park Road 
• continue and resume normal route

Service 13 heading from Seaton to Scatterburn
From Park Road:
• continue onto Park Road
• 2nd exit onto Park Street
• 1st exit onto Boulevard
• continue along the Boulevard using all temporary stops (bus will not serve Links Retail Park)t
• 3rd exit back onto Esplanade 
• right onto Beach Boulevard
• resume normal service to Scatterburn

Service 13 heading from Seaton to Scatterburn (if serving York Street Footdee)
From Park Road:
• straight onto Park Road
• 2nd exit onto Park Street
• 1st exit onto the Boulevard
• 3rd exit at the Beach Ballroom roundabout and continue normal route to Footdee (bus will not serve Links Retail Park)
• continue along York Street
• left onto York Place
• right onto Waterloo Quay
• right onto Commerce Street
• 2nd exit onto East North Street and resume normal route

Craigiebuckler Avenue will be closed from 04:00 on 23 July until 17:00 on 20 September.

Service 11A will divert as follows:
Service 11A heading to Craigiebuckler
From Springfield Road via Queens Road.

Service 11A heading to Springhill
From the bus stop on Queens Road via Queens Road, Springfield Road and resume normal route
