  1. This promotion is open to UK residents only, excluding employees and their immediate families of First Bus, their respective agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Prize winners under 18 years will require parental consent to be eligible to receive any prize.
  2. The promotion start date is 12/10/11. The promotion will end once all promotional tickets have been distributed or on 30/12/11 - whichever is sooner. Closing date for all claims is 30/12/11.
  3. Prizes and offers available as follows:

  4. Promotional tickets will be distributed on First Buses from 12/10/11. Passengers with 'Mystery Prize/Gift' tickets must visit www.firstbus.co.uk and enter an 8 character code on the back of the ticket, together with contact details, to reveal their prize. All prize winners must send in their original bus ticket with corresponding 8 character code to First Bus Promotion, 100 Brunswick Street, Glasgow G1 1TF. No photocopies will be accepted. Please use registered post.
  5. In the instance where a passenger receives a winning ticket but the 8 character code is incomplete, a different full 8 character code can be obtained by emailing webelieve@firstgroup.com with passenger's full name and contact details. This code can then be used on the promotional microsite as normal. Where a prize is won, the passenger will be required to send in this original incomplete ticket for verification to claim their prize.
  6. Winners will receive their prizes within 28 days of receipt of the winning promotional ticket.
  7. One promotional ticket available with every ticket purchased on board a First Bus on participating buses. Limited to one promotional ticket per person, per journey. All bus pass and season ticket holder are permitted one entry per day on-line during the promotional period. See www.firstbus.co.uk for full details.
  8. Prizes and gifts have been pre-allocated and linked to unique character codes on tickets, which have been randomly pre-selected via a secure, independently verified computer system. Although all prizes will be available to be won, there is no guarantee that they all will be won.
  9. Any promotional ticket will be declared void if stolen, misprinted, torn, defaced or defective in any manner.
  10. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Some prize winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from the award of a prize.
  12. No cash or other alternative prizes or offers are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to provide similar prizes of equal or greater value.
  13. By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms & Conditions. All entry instructions form part of the Terms & Conditions.
  14. A list of the prize winners will be made available on request after the closing date, for a period of 3 months to those enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope to: First Bus Promotion, 100 Brunswick Street, Glasgow G1 1TF.
  15. The Promoter cannot be held liable for system failures at the handling house, on the websites or on telephone hotlines or for any failure by third parties to fulfill their obligations or for any acts or omissions outside the control of the Promoters, although the Promoter will endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure.
  16. Any breach of these Terms & Conditions will result in a forfeit of the prize.
